1. About AsianTherapist
AsianTherapist is a directory platform that connects patients with Asian psychologists, psychiatrists, and counsellors worldwide. We are not a healthcare provider. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Use of this platform does not establish a doctor-patient relationship with AsianTherapist.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete. Clinicians must hold valid professional credentials in their jurisdiction and are solely responsible for the accuracy of their profile.
3. Clinician accounts
Clinicians listed on AsianTherapist are independent practitioners. AsianTherapist does not employ clinicians and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcomes of any clinical services. All credentials submitted during registration are subject to manual verification before a profile is marked Verified. AsianTherapist reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms or appears inaccurate.
4. Patient accounts
Patients use AsianTherapist to discover and contact clinicians. Any therapeutic relationship you establish is directly between you and the clinician. AsianTherapist is not a party to that relationship and accepts no liability for clinical outcomes. In a mental health emergency, please contact your local emergency services immediately.
5. Reviews
Reviews may only be submitted by verified patients who have had at least one session with the clinician. Reviews must be honest and based on personal experience. Defamatory, false, or abusive reviews will be removed. AsianTherapist reserves the right to moderate all reviews.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use AsianTherapist to post false or misleading information, impersonate another person, harvest contact details for spam, attempt to circumvent our security measures, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
The AsianTherapist name, logo, and platform design are the property of AsianTherapist. Clinician-submitted content (bio, photos, credentials) remains the property of the clinician. By submitting content, you grant AsianTherapist a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.
8. Limitation of liability
AsianTherapist is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AsianTherapist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
